On World Clinical Trials Day, the Alliance for Promoting the Value of Clinical Trials—bringing together the Greek Patients Association, HACRO (Hellenic Association of Contract Research Organizations) and the Athens Medical Association—is proud to launch its new national awareness campaign, “I Participate Because I Have… Knowledge – Benefit – Trust.”
The campaign aims to provide patients with reliable, evidence-based information about clinical trials, helping them better understand the clinical research process, the safeguards in place and the potential benefits of participation. By promoting knowledge and transparency, the initiative seeks to strengthen public trust and encourage informed decision-making.
The campaign is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Health and under the auspices of the National Organisation for Medicines (EOF) and the Hellenic Red Cross, reflecting a shared commitment to promoting patient awareness and advancing clinical research in Greece.
