Innovation in Oncology VIII
Evangelia (Lia) Koraki, President of HACRO – Hellenic Association of CROs, participated online in the “Clinical Trials” session of the 8th Panhellenic Conference “Innovation in Oncology VIII” (16–18 October 2026). The conference was organised by the Hellenic Oncology Institute for Patient Support, in collaboration with the Department of Molecular Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at Papageorgiou General Hospital.
In her presentation, entitled “Challenges in Conducting Clinical Trials in Greece”, she highlighted the challenges and European developments shaping the future of clinical research, which are also expected to influence the clinical research landscape in Greece, alongside the priorities for strengthening the country’s competitiveness in attracting new trials.
As she emphasised, the progress already achieved provides a strong foundation for the future. The aim is to build on this momentum so that Greece can secure an even stronger presence in the European clinical research landscape.
We warmly thank the Conference President and the organisers for inviting us to participate and for the excellent organisation.
