Advancing Clinical Trials in Greece: Opportunities and Challenges

HACRO President Evangelia (Lia) Koraki participated virtually in the Innovation in Oncology VII Panhellenic Conference, held on 27 September, delivering a presentation entitled “Opportunities and Challenges in Conducting Clinical Trials in Greece.”

During her presentation, she highlighted Greece’s key strengths and the opportunities to further expand clinical research, while also addressing the challenges that continue to shape the country’s clinical trial landscape.

Particular emphasis was placed on the forthcoming Joint Ministerial Decision (JMD), which is expected to further strengthen the regulatory framework for clinical trials and support the continued growth of clinical research in Greece.

HACRO extends its sincere thanks to the Hellenic Oncology Patient Support Institute and, in particular, its President, Sofia Baka, for the kind invitation and the excellent organisation of the conference.
