HACRO – the Hellenic Association of Contract Research Organizations – participated in the scientific conference organised by the National Organisation for Medicines (EOF), which provided an important platform for institutional dialogue on the future of pharmaceutical policy in Greece.
Representing HACRO, Board President Evangelia (Lia) Koraki took part in the panel discussion “Challenges and Proposals – The Stakeholders’ Perspective,” where she highlighted the pivotal role of the National Organisation for Medicines (EOF) as a cornerstone of Greece’s clinical research ecosystem.
Ms Koraki emphasised that an efficient and well-functioning regulatory authority is essential to enhancing Greece’s attractiveness as a destination for clinical trials. In an increasingly competitive international environment, speed, regulatory efficiency and scientific excellence are key factors in attracting high-value clinical research investments.
She also underlined that every clinical trial generates significant value—improving patient access to innovation while delivering scientific, social and economic benefits. In this context, EOF serves not only as the national regulatory authority but also as a key enabler of innovation and a driving force in the continuous improvement of the healthcare system.
HACRO remains committed to supporting the work of EOF and to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to strengthen clinical research in Greece for the benefit of patients, science and society.
