The Clinical Research Training Working Group, in collaboration with the Clinical Trials Academy, aims to provide training and certification to healthcare professionals with limited to moderate experience in clinical research in Good Clinical Practice (GCP). GCP is the international ethical and scientific quality standard governing the design, conduct, monitoring, auditing, recording, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials.

The Clinical Trials Regulatory Framework Working Group of HACRO focuses on monitoring and implementing national and European legislation, including Regulation (EU) 536/2014.Its core mission includes:
  • Drafting institutional proposals and feedback on bills under public consultation.
  • Addressing practical hurdles and operational bottlenecks across hospitals and university/regional health authority research accounts (ELKE/ELKEA).
Through the institutional participation of the BoD President and the Group Leader in the Hellenic Ministry of Health's dedicated task force, the group ensures direct industry representation to foster an optimized clinical research environment in Greece.
